Caribbean Stud Poker ^tm

Caribbean Stud Poker is a five card stud poker game. The object of the game is to beat the dealer's hand. To play, you first place a bet in the ante box. Each player then receives five cards face down. The dealer receives four cards face-down and one card face-up. You now have the option to play or fold.

Fold - the dealer takes your ante bet and your hand is finished

Bet - You must place a bet equal to double your ante in the bet box

 

After all players have decided, the dealer will reveal his or her four remaining cards. The dealer must have an Ace and King or higher to qualify to play. If not, the hand is over, you automatically win your ante bet and no action is taken on your bet wager.

If the dealer qualifies, then your poker hand will be compared to the dealer's hand. If your hand beats the dealer's hand then you will receive even money on the ante bet and even money or higher on your bet wager.

If the dealer's hand beats your hand, the dealer takes your ANTE and BET wagers.

If the dealer's hand and your hand are the same poker hand, the remaining cards are taken into consideration and the highest hand wins. Suits do not count.

EXAMPLE:

Dealer's hand - Ace and King, 10, 6, 3
Player's Hand - Ace and King, Jack, 5, 2
(The player wins, as the next highest card after the ACE and KING is JACK.)

If the dealer's hand does not contain an ACE and KING or higher, you automatically win your ANTE bet and no action is taken on your BET wager.

Progressive Jackpot

Caribbean Stud Poker has the added feature of a progressive jackpot. To participate, simply insert a $1 chip into the slot in front of the ante box. If you have one of the qualifying hands, you will automatically win regardless of the dealer's hand qualifying.
