If the first two cards are a pair, a Red Dog is possible. A Red Dog is three cards of equal value. If the third card is not the same as the pair, the bet remains a push, or tie, and no action is taken.
If the first two cards are consecutive (for example 7,8) all bets remain on the table, a push is declared, and two more cards are dealt.
Once a spread is established you can raise by placing a bet equal to your original bet in the appropriate box on the table. If the dealer makes the spread, you win and will be paid in accordance with the payout schedule on both bets.
